Course Overview

Conflict is an inevitable component of progress and change. Used constructively, it can assist in resolving conflicts and open up discussion and co-operative action. This course is designed to give you a positive approach to recognizing, managing, resolving and where appropriate, preventing conflict. 

 

Target Audience

Suitable for supervisors, team leaders and managers

 

 

Course Objectives

·         Recognise a range of conflict situations

·         Understand the ways in which conflict may develop and can be resolved

·         Adapt behaviours to minimise conflict

·         Evaluate the effects of conflict on performance and the individual

·         Observe and react to a variety of situations to minimise and resolve conflict

 

Course Outline

·         Possible causes of internal conflict

·         Causes of interpersonal friction at work

·         The effects of conflict on performance and the individual at work

·         The manager’s responsibility in minimising and resolving conflict,

·         Effective  techniques in managing conflict

·         Ways to create harmony at work and engender a positive atmosphere

 

Course Material

The course fee includes everything required for the class work including notebooks, articles, note-paper and pencils.

 

Prerequisites

No pre-work is required for the course.

 

Certification

Certificates will be presented upon completion of each course.

Maximum amount of 12 participants

 

Course Fee

AED 1100 per participant

Instruction materials & refreshments are included in the course fee. Accommodation and transportation are not included in the "Course Fees".
