His early career was spent within the retail sector.  Relevant training qualifications include: CTA, GTT & OTA, Assessor & Verifier qualifications D32, CIPD and Institute of Leadership & Management.

Course Overview
Making the move into the Supervisor's job can be demanding. It needs new skills so that you can get results through other people. These essential skills for new Supervisors do not come naturally. This course helps you start to learn them where you will have the confidence to put them into practice and begin the process of effective, professional supervisory control.

Target Audience
This programme will benefit experienced supervisors who are preparing to move into their first management position or new managers who would benefit from learning or refreshing on the fundamentals of managing and supervising others.

• Why delegation is so difficult
• Explore ways of overcoming the barriers to effective delegation

VIII. Motivation
• Define motivation
• Define where you can influence the motivation of your staff

IX. Giving Feedback
• Define feedback
• Explore where feedback needs to take place in the workplace

X. Bringing it All Together
• Review of what has been learnt

Course Material
The course fee includes everything required for the class work including notebooks, articles, note-paper and pencils.

The programme does not require any prerequisites.

A certification will be issued upon completion.
