   | |  |  | John Mowatt, Director, Centre for Emiratisation, Research & Development John is responsible for managing entry level training of UAE Nationals for the hotel and retail sectors, and for managing the various Emiratisation private sector research, training and consultancy projects at the Centre for Emiratisation R&D. John has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management in the University of New South Wales. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, and post-graduate diplomas in Technical Education and TESOL from the University of Technology, Sydney. John was Head of the Centre for English as a Second Language at Dubai University, lecturer in business at the Higher Colleges of Technology, and lecturer in communication studies at the Sydney |

   | Institute of Technology. He also has extensive experience in service industry corporate training with Australia Post. In 1995 he received the United Arab Emirates Higher Colleges of Technology Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Achievement in Teaching. |  |
   | |  |  | Ophelia Gokoyan, Project Manager, Centre for Emiratisation, Research & Development Ophelia Gokoyan is currently managing the Academy’s Centre for Emiratisation R&D training programmes for UAE Nationals. She holds an MBA in Educational Management from the University of Leicester, UK, in addition to a Bachelors Degree in Modern Languages from Yerevan State University, Armenia and a Postgraduate Diploma in TESOL from Trinity College, London. Her work experience includes teaching in Guangzhou Foreign Language Institute in China, teaching in Poznan, Poland, and Dubai University College in the UAE where she worked as an English lecturer. |
