Marianne joined EAHM as a Senior Lecturer. An Australian, she comes to us with an interesting and eclectic career history.
Her first career was in nursing and midwifery before meeting her husband and moving from Melbourne to Byron Bay, a seaside town in northern New South Wales. For twenty years they owned restaurants and an events company. Marianne also started an annual food festival, co-founded a theatre company and became a restaurant reviewer during that time.
A Masters in Education led to Marianne lecturing in Business at The Hotel School Sydney and also at the University of New South Wales. It was a long standing interest in the Middle East that drew Marianne to this part of the world. Her interests are varied and include; art, architecture, theatre, literature, politics and food!
