Programmes
Delivered at your premises, off-site, or at The Emirates Academy, as requested

These programmes will be tailor-made to meet your specific needs and objectives. We draw on a broad range of topics, methods and activities that may be blended to together. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Possible Themes

There are many ways of structuring in-house events for clients, spanning one or more days. We often use Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), which is a proven non-threatening tool to support the learning and change process, and is especially useful for topics such as:

Teams and Team-working - to unite new or recently formed teams or those whose members have changed significantly, or where there have been breakdowns in team-working.

Teams and Emotional Intelligence – self-management of emotions and applying understanding or emotions to interact more effectively with others

Teams and Stress – understanding our reactions to stress, learning to cope better, and helping each other

Teams and Conflict Resolution – resolving conflict between team members, or between individuals in the team and others

Teams and Leadership – applying a common frame of reference to improve our leadership communications, problem-solving and professional development

Teams and Change Management – understanding our reactions to change and improving the ability of the individuals and team to initiate, lead, manage and respond to change

Teams and Communication – improving effectiveness of our communications by evaluating our preferred ways of communicating and finding ways that are more effective

Teams and Coaching – learning how to coach and create a coaching culture (should probably be considered as a follow up to the Coaching training currently being implemented)

Teams and Selling – applying MBTI preferences to the selling process (refresher for sales people jaded by the usual training offerings!)

Teams and Career Development – helping individuals understand their own work preferences to assist them with career planning (usually for colleagues early on in their careers!)

Target Audience

Groups of people who usually work together within a single team, such a Corporate team, Regional team, Business Unit Leadership/Management team or team within a particular department. Such events are often effective in helping new teams to form and work well together in a short space of time.
